A Montreal concert hall that was closed due to an injunction for making too much noise, will be able to reopen.

Friday, Quebec Superior Court Judge Patrick Ferland, provided a 27-page ruling, which confirmed the municipal bylaw that forced the injunction has since been amended and no longer applies to La Tulipe.

In June, the City of Montreal introduced a new noise bylaw for the Ville-Marie borough, replacing the one previously proposed for the Plateau-Mont-Royal.
