JACKSONVILLE — Florida football wide receiver Dallas Wilson is expected to miss the rest of the season due a foot injury he sustained against Georgia on Nov. 1, according to a report from CBS Sports.
The true freshman was seen limping off the field just before end of the first half. Wilson later returned to the sideline in a boot on right foot and not in his pads with the game tied at 10. The Tampa native had only one catch for 7 yards in the 24-20 loss against the Bulldogs.
Florida's interim head coach Billy Gonzales did not provide any update in the postgame press conference.
"We'll find out a little bit more," Gonzales said. "Obviously he was injured so I'll find out. Haven't talked to him or the training staff right now."
