VIENNA — Vienna High School sophomore Mary-Kate Starrick has been selected as one of Illinois’ 2025-2026 Youth Afterschool Ambassadors (YAA) through ACT Now Illinois, a statewide coalition dedicated to expanding access to quality afterschool opportunities.

Starrick’s selection places her among a select group of Illinois high school students chosen to represent the voice of youth in afterschool advocacy and policy.
