The Boston Red Sox had a very successful offseason last winter as they added ace Garrett Crochet in a big trade and superstar Alex Bregman in free agency. While Crochet is signed long-term, Bregman is back in free agency after opting out of his contract.
The Red Sox are going to have some serious competition if they want to re-sign Bregman in free agency, but it's a sweepstakes they need to win.
Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox recently predicted Bregman would re-sign in Boston on a massive six-year deal.
