CINCINNATI, Ohio — The Bengals offense for the second week in a row had a great performance spoiled by a poor effort from their defense.
Sunday, a 58-yard touchdown from Caleb Williams to Colston Loveland with 17 seconds left gave the Bears a stunning 47-42 win after the Bengals had erased a 14-point deficit in the final two minutes.
In the locker room after the game, Bengals running back Chase Brown did not mince words about his defense’s performance.
“We know how they can play. They played really well at the start of the season,” Brown told reporters including Mike Petraglia of CLNSCincy.com . “They were carrying us on their back.
