LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A bicyclist was hit by a vehicle and killed early Sunday morning in the northwest Las Vegas valley.
The crash happened just after 7 a.m. near North Schaumburg Road and Grand Teton Drive, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
A motorist hit a bicyclist. Police said the bicyclist died at the scene.
LVMPD said the driver, identified as Charles Carter, 69, may have been impaired at the time of the crash. Carter was arrested on charges related to DUI.
No additional details have been released, including the identity of the victim.
