PELL CITY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A substitute teacher is accused of offering some students at Pell City High School a vape, according to Superintendent Dr. Justin Burns.

The school system says the person was immediately removed from campus and the matter has been turned over to law enforcement. Parents of the students were notified.

In a Facebook post the school system said, “Pell City Schools holds the safety and well-being of our students as our highest priority. We have zero tolerance for behavior that compromises that trust, and we are taking every appropriate step to ensure this situation is handled properly.”
