Some parts of the Lakeshore West GO train will be out of service for planned repair work until early Tuesday morning.
Construction work is being done to replace the Etobicoke Creek bridge and it cannot be done while service is running, Metrolinx said in a release on Sunday.
Metrolinx said the work, originally scheduled for weekends in October , was postponed to accommodate travel to the World Series games, before starting on Sunday. There will be no GO train service between Oakville GO and Union Station while the work is underway.
On Sunday, special trains will run between Exhibition Go and Union Station, according to Metrolinx. Buses will also run between Oakville and Clarkson GO stations and the Bramalea GO, where riders can connect with Kitchener lines to Union Station.
