Boston Police officers executed a scooter enforcement in Fenway late last week, towing four unregistered motorcycles.

District D-4 created an initiative, “Operation Safe Scooter,” to tackle unregistered scooters, mopeds, and motorcycles that may pose safety concerns for the community on and off the road.

The department reported that “Operation Safe Scooter” has been responsible for 51 unregistered moped and motorcycles towed this year throughout Boston neighborhoods.
