But the devastating nature of the loss of tight end Tucker Kraft — the centerpiece of their passing game, one of the offensive captains, the energy-supplying tough-guy personality who makes the unit go — to a serious knee injury during Sunday’s 16-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers at Lambeau Field cannot be overstated.

A source said after the game that the Packers fear that Kraft tore the ACL in his right knee. Kraft has an MRI scheduled for Monday to confirm whether that is indeed the case.
