As the Toronto Blue Jays try to get over their collective heartbreak, some of the players in the organization have to worry about where their next opportunities will come from.
It was tough to crack this Blue Jays playoff roster; just ask former All-Star José Berríos, who was left out despite his track record and $107 million contract. Understandably, lefty journeyman Ryan Borucki was never truly in the mix, though he did make four regular-season appearances for Toronto and 35 more for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Borucki was drafted in the 12th round by the Blue Jays back in 2012. It was a full-circle moment to return for a second stint in the organization, but there's a strong chance that stint is now over.
On Sunday, Borucki elected free agency, according to the official transactions log
