MASON, Mich. (WILX) -Community members gathered at City Limits Bowling Alley on Sunday to raise money for two local charities through a bowling event organized by the Mason Holt Eagles.

The event raised funds for Give a Kid a Suitcase and Rainbow Homes, both local organizations serving vulnerable populations.

Give a Kid a Suitcase provides foster children with suitcases, toiletries, and other essential items. Rainbow Homes houses 26 permanent residents with cognitive diseases and provides transportation to appointments, jobs, and school to help them maintain independence.
