SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -Chicken wing fans came out for a big feast at Wingapalooza on Saturday.

This annual event, held at the Springfield Expo Center, is hosted by the Sertoma Club of Springfield, which raises money for local children’s charities.

For more than 20 years, this wing festival has brought out the best of the best from southwest Missouri.

“People come, they try it, they eat it, they love it, they listen to the music, they do all the things that they need to every fall for 25 years,” said Ken Childers with the Sertoma Club of Springfield.

The day-long event offered thousands of wings of all sorts of flavors to sample from over 50 different booths.
