Libertytown vineyard toasts Maryland's first kosher wine

For Loew Vineyards near Libertytown, "l'chaim," or a toast in Hebrew meaning, "to life," is significant for a number of reasons.

One of those reasons on Sunday was to celebrate the Loew family's legacy of wine and meadmaking, dating from before the 1930s, through the Holocaust, to Frederick County in the 1980s, and into the future beyond 2025.
