A man was arrested on suspicion of killing his older brother in Yucaipa on Friday, Oct. 31.
Deputies responded around 7:20 a.m. to the 12800 block of Sixth Street, where Matthew Ludwig reported that his brother Larry Adams wasn’t breathing, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
When they arrived, deputies found Adams, 55, dead in the living room and detained Ludwig, 50, “due to the circumstances of the death,” a Sheriff’s Department statement said. Ludwig also had an outstanding felony warrant.
Homicide detectives found inconsistencies in Ludwig’s story and arrested him on suspicion of murder as well as for his outstanding warrant.
No further details were immediately available.
