Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers badly needed a statement win over the Indianapolis Colts coming into Week 9 action. That is exactly what they were able to get.
Despite the Colts being the best team in the NFL through eight weeks, the Steelers were able to come through with a victory by a final score of 27-20. With the win, the team improved to 5-3 on the season and remained in control of the AFC North division race.
Following two straight losses against the Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh needed to get back on track. There is no better way to accomplish that goal than by beating the best team in the league.
