A 63-year-old man was killed in a fiery collision in Gloucester County Saturday night, police said.

The victim, David E. Hartman, was headed south on New Jersey Route 55 in Elk Township , at 10:05 p.m., when his Jeep collided with a Nissan SUV traveling in the same direction, New Jersey State Police spokesman Trooper Christopher Postorino said.

The Jeep was then struck by a Ford sedan that was also headed southbound on the state highway, Postorino said.

The Jeep came to rest in the center median in the area of milepost 47.6 and burst into flames, Postorino said. Hartman, who lived in Newfield, suffered fatal injuries, the trooper said.
