BATH TOWNSHIP, Ohio ( WOIO /Gray News) - Officials say nine people, including teenagers, were injured during a shooting at a party at an Airbnb rental in Ohio.

The Bath Township Police Department says at around midnight, officers responded after multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting at an Airbnb rental in the 900 block of Top O Hill Drive.

Police believe that a large group of juveniles arrived at the home after a social media post promoted the party.

According to the Associated Press , the event was a birthday party.

Officials say an unknown shooter or shooters fired multiple rounds inside the home, struck multiple people, and then fled the scene.

When emergency personnel arrived, they provided life-saving assistance to the victims, who were then taken to the hospital.
