Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is set to face another major humiliation, with King Charles reportedly preparing to strip him of his final honorary rank.

The 65-year-old, who was formally stripped of his title as Prince last week over his links to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, has continued to hold the rank of Vice Admiral in the Royal Navy- the only position he retained after losing his other military titles in 2022.

But British Defence Secretary John Healey has confirmed his department is "working to remove" the rank, which Andrew received on his 55th birthday in 2015.

"This is a move that's right, it's a move the King has indicated we should take and we're working on that at the moment," Mr Healey told the BBC's Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg.
