As soon as trick-or-treaters finished Halloween festivities, the folks at the Mall at Partridge Creek turned their attention toward the annual tree lighting celebration to welcome in the gift-giving season later this month.
This year’s event is scheduled for 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23 at the shopping center on Hall Road between Garfield and Romeo Plank roads. It typically attracts hundreds of families to watch the mall’s transformation into a Christmas wonderland.
Festivities include the lighting of the 46-foot-tall tree that will be illuminated by some 325,000 twinkling lights and serve as the main focal point. There also will be a variety of family-friendly activities, entertainment, a bunch of freebies as well as Santa’s debut at the regional, outdoor shopping center.
