LAWRENCE — Kansas basketball’s momentum on the recruiting trail has been unmistakeable through the fall.
In the class of 2026, there have been the commitments of 247Sports Composite five-star Taylen Kinney (No. 17 overall), four-star Davion Adkins (No. 30 overall), four-star Trent Perry (No. 105 overall) and four-star Luke Barnett (No. 144 overall). In the class of 2027, there was the commitment of five-star Javon Bardwell (No. 26 overall). KU’s future rosters are taking shape.
But, Saturday, came another point of news that could end up making it even brighter. That’s because class of 2026 five-star Tyran Stokes, the No. 1 overall prospect in his class, released his top three schools on the social media site X. Kansas , along with Oregon and Kentucky, is in that group.
