Rhode Island FC is playing its best soccer when it counts most.

On Sunday, Nov. 2., the club stunned No. 2 seed Charleston Battery in a penalty shootout in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. Goalie Koke Vegas kept Charleston off the board with four saves during regulation before Rhode Island buried all five penalties to notch the playoff upset in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, setting up a semifinal matchup at North Carolina FC next weekend (date, time still to be announced).
