SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Department (SPD) arrested a 21-year-old man early Sunday morning following a drive-by shooting in the Pioneer Square neighborhood.
Around 1:37 a.m., officers in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue South heard gunfire coming from a nearby parking lot. When they responded, they cleared the area and found evidence of a shooting, along with two damaged vehicles, according to SPD.
Video from a nearby Tesla showed a man crouching behind a vehicle and firing a gun before running to a white Mercedes-Benz and driving away.
About an hour later, a security guard spotted the same man and vehicle in a nearby alley. Officers said they found the suspect in the driver’s seat and took him into custody without incident.
Police seized two vehicles linked to the shooting and transport
