STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- A man was arrested for his involvement in a commercial building fire in Stafford County.
The Stafford County Fire Marshal’s Office said on Sunday that it had determined a fire that happened on Oct. 27 in a vacant commercial building was incendiary.
At around 4:55 p.m., firefighters were called to the 700 block of Cambridge Street after receiving reports of smoke showing from three sides of the vacant building.
The building was unoccupied at the time, and crews were able to put out the fire.
As a result, on Oct. 30, the Stafford County Fire Marshal’s Office arrested Samuel Harang, 18, of Stafford County.
He was taken to the Rappahannock Regional Jail and held without bond. He is being charged with burning an unoccupied structure.
