A motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries after a multiple vehicle crash in Columbia on Sunday.

According to a press release from the Columbia Police Department, officers responded to a traffic crash call at the intersection of Range Line Street and Rainforest Parkway at about 3:30 p.m.

Preliminary investigation indicates a vehicle was traveling south on Range Line Street and made a turn eastbound on Kennesaw Ridge Road, into the path of the motorcycle, according to the release.

This is an ongoing investigation. The Columbia Police Department asks that anyone with information about this incident contact them.
