LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - One person is dead following a car crash in Laurens County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Officials said that at approximately 5:25 a.m. Sunday morning, a 2016 Dodge Coupe was driving west on South Highway 56. The car allegedly struck a ditch, and then struck a tree.
The driver was confirmed dead at the scene, and has not been identified at this time.
The incident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
