MIAMI, Fla. (KFVS) - The Missouri family that was stranded in Jamaica due to Hurricane Melissa is back in the United States.

Rowdy Enderle reports that he and his family landed in Miami earlier Sunday. They boarded a plane to St. Louis at 9 p.m.

Enderle tells Heartland News that he is relieved to be back in the United States, “We left as a family, we all came back as a family. That’s how we work. I wasn’t in my seat on the airplane - I couldn’t have been in there five minutes, and I was already passing out. I was just gone. It was just like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders because I really can’t tell you if I really laid down and went to sleep since the hurricane.”
