Jalen Brunson helped the New York Knicks snap a three-game losing streak on a night Josh Giddey elevated himself into rare Bulls air.
Knicks point guard Brunson scored 19 of the Knicks’ first 34 points and immediately set the tone.
He finished with MVP chants ringing around MSG in the fourth quarter. And he ended up with a game-high 31 points as the Knicks beat the Bulls 128-116 on Sunday night at Madison Square Garden to start a seven-game homestand.
Giddey, meanwhile, recorded his eighth triple double for the Bulls to finish with 23 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists to go with two steals.
He now sits third behind Michael Jordan and Socttie Pippen on the most triple doubles for Chicago.
