URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) -- Four people were brought to the hospital with stabbing injuries ranging from minor to life-threatening after reports of a "large fight" in Urbana on Sunday evening.

Officers with the Urbana Police Department responded to the area of Hunter Street and Lierman Avenue around 5:45 p.m.

While on the way, officers were told that at least one person had been stabbed. But, once officers arrived, they soon learned that multiple individuals had either been stabbed or cut.

Witnesses provided officers with a description of the suspect, later identified as 18-year-old Samuel Garcia of Arcola. Police were told he fled the scene, but they soon located the vehicle and identified a passenger as the suspect involved in the incident.
