The government will introduce an order to progress the proposed Macquarie Point stadium and hand down an interim budget this week, but there is something else on its agenda for prospective homeowners.

The order for the $1.13 billion project is scheduled to be debated as a Project of State Significance next week in the House of Assembly and in the first week of December in the Legislative Council, with an aim to have it approved by the end of the year.

The 153-page order includes a long list of conditions that relate to noise management, heritage, ancillary infrastructure, design and social impact.

High-volume concerts will be limited to 12 events a year , which must wrap up by 11pm, and night games must be restricted to between 2pm and 11pm.
