First, how is everyone enjoying this stretch of weather? Although Saturday was a bit gloomier ahead of another front, one couldn't complain about the air temps. Sunday was near perfect, except for the wind. Monday looks to be an incredible day to wet a line.

Speaking of wetting a line, two big-money redfish tournaments held their final events for the 2025 season. One was the Elite Series, the other the Professional Redfish League. The Elite Solo Tour National Championship was held in Jacksonville, Florida last week. Two Texas boys did quite well. Cooper Hartmann of Seadrift took home first place with a prize winning of $60,000. Finishing second was Mark Robinson of Victoria. He also won angler of the year.
