CHEROKEE, Iowa (KCAU) – Over the weekend people geeked out in Cherokee, Iowa, as an annual event saw hundreds of people turnout.
Kee Con has been a reoccurring gaming convention for a couple years now. During the three day event folks could play Dungeons and Dragons, paint figurines, play and buy trading card games, and so much more.
Sunday was the last day of Kee Con at the Cherokee Convention Center, with officials saying Saturday was the busiest day of the convention.
"There's a place called Hollow Archive that opened in Cherokee recently that they put on a big magic tournament, had 30 some attendees for that. We had a huge Warhammer tournament that was 20 attendees for that to play ended up having. Probably a little over 200 people as far as attendance," said Nate Reinert, an admini
