The Seattle Seahawks traveled to the nation’s capital and made a statement in a primetime matchup.

Sam Darnold threw four touchdown passes before Washington scored its first points and the Seahawks ran away with a 38-14 victory over the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football.

With the win, the Seahawks improved to 6-2 and kept pace with the Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the best record in the NFC. They also remained tied atop the NFC West with the Rams.
