Bhopal: A violent incident occurred in the Aishbagh area late at night when a family objected to two youths bursting firecrackers outside their house. According to TI V.B.S. Sengar, the complainant, Shafiq (30), son of Sameer Khan and resident of Ahata Sikandar Kuli, who works in a private firm, stated that Taufiq and Siraj were creating noise by bursting crackers, disturbing his family’s sleep. When Shafiq requested them to stop, the duo misbehaved and left.
A short while later, they returned armed with knives and swords, striking the house shutter, hurling abuses, and threatening the family. When Shafiq and his brother Anas came out, the accused attacked them, injuring Anas on the leg. They also fired a single shot before fleeing the scene.
