NORTH BAY - Parker Vaughan had two goals and an assist, Ryder Carey chipped in with two assists, and the North Bay Battalion cooled off the visiting Niagara IceDogs with a 6-2 Ontario Hockey League victory on Sunday.
Kent Greer, Ihnat Pazii, Arseny Pronin and Bronson Ride also scored for the Battalion (8-8-0-0), who led 1-0 after the first period but went into the third tied 2-2.
Riley Patterson scored both goals for the IceDogs (10-5-0-1). Ryan Roobroeck chipped in with two assists.
The teams each had 30 shots on goal. The Battalion went 2-for-5 on the power play, while the IceDogs were 1-for-4.
