With a shutout Saturday night over St. Lawrence, the Michigan Tech Huskies hockey team earned a split during their trip to northern New York. They dropped a game to Clarkson on Friday, 6-4, but bounced back with a 3-0 win over the Saints.
With the split, the Huskies are now 5-3 on the season and 2-0 in CCHA play.

CANTON, NY — The Huskies shutout the Saints Saturday at Appleton Arena. Captain Isaac Gordon, alternate captain Max Koskipirtti, and freshman defenseman Kalem Parker scored the goals, and junior goaltender Owen Bartoszkiewicz earned the shutout with 28 saves.
