Erling Haaland scored two more goals and Manchester City stayed within six points of Premier League leaders Arsenal, as Pep Guardiola’s side beat Bournemouth 3-1 at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Haaland’s brace gives him 13 PL goals on the season (seven more than anyone else), now eight more than all of his teammates combined, as Bournemouth’s typically organized defense was stretched and run ragged all throughout the first half. Haaland raced half the length of the field to open the scoring in the 17th minute and did much the same job 16 minutes later for 2-0, after USMNT midfielder Tyler Adams bagged his first goal in English football in the 25th (his first club goal since January 2021, for RB Leipzig).
