India’s homegrown brand Lenskart is planning to step into the smart AI-powered AR glass segment – one where Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses dominate currently. The Piyush Bansal-owned firm, which is also set to introduce its IPO, seems to be readying a pair of new AI-powered smart glasses under the ‘B by Lenskart Smartglasses’ range.

Based on a report from PTI, industry insiders suggest that the company is preparing for a debut by the end of December 2025 and will utilise Qualcomm’s latest chip to power its AI applications on an Augmented Reality interface. The device is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 platform, which is a chipset designed for lightweight augmented reality and camera-enabled AI applications.
