US President Donald Trump claimed that Pakistan, China, and Russia are secretly conducting nuclear weapons tests, arguing that the United States should not remain the only major power abstaining from such activities, in a televised interview with 60 Minutes.
Trump, who recently directed the Pentagon to resume nuclear testing “immediately,” said that North Korea, Pakistan, and others are already testing but “don’t go and tell you about it.” His comments have renewed confusion and concern over whether the US intends to detonate a nuclear device for the first time since 1992.
