SRINAGAR : Police in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district seized a substantial quantity of contraband during naka checking at Okhoo Kakpora area on Monday. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp
According to officials, a police team from Police Station Kakpora intercepted a TATA 207 vehicle bearing registration number JK01Q-0468 during routine checking at Okhoo. The vehicle was being driven by Javaid Ahmad Dar alias Jana Dar, son of Mohammad Maqbool, a local of Okhoo Kakpora.
Upon thorough inspection, police recovered 5.565 kilograms of suspected poppy straw from the vehicle. The accused driver was taken into custody on the spot.
Following the seizure, Police Station Kakpora registered a case under FIR No. 69/2025 in terms of Sections 8 and 15 of the NDPS Act. Investigat
