Florida basketball will begin the defense of its national title with a top 25 clash.
The No. 3 Gators are set to face No. 13 Arizona on national television in Las Vegas to open the season. UF finished last year with a 36-4 overall record and closed out the season with a 12-game winning streak. The Wildcats come off a 24-13 season and an appearance in the Sweet 16.
"Arizona is really good," Florida coach Todd Golden said. "They're just really good. I'm like looking at their roster, and I think (Motejus) Krivas, their center, is very good. He's 7-foot-1, strong, physical. They have two McDonald's All-Americans in the starting lineup.
