CHICO, Calif. - The Chico Day of the Dead Festival is set for Saturday, promising a vibrant celebration with a new location.
Divine Sundays will host the event at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico. It will take place on November 1 from noon until 6 p.m., and entry to the event is free.
Attendees can expect a wide array of attractions, including a community altar, a lowrider car show, bike valet, and Calavera face painting. Folklorico and Aztec dancers will also perform during the event.
The festival will feature food trucks, live mural painting, screen printing, a bar, and live music.
More than 100 local artists and vendors will participate, making it a diverse cultural experience.
