United States President Donald Trump on Sunday told CBS News that Pakistan was among the countries actively testing nuclear weapons .

The US president made the comment during an interview on the American news channel’s 60 Minutes show when asked why his administration had resumed nuclear tests for the first time since 1992.

On Thursday, Trump said he has instructed the US’ Department of War to start testing the country’s nuclear weapons “on an equal basis” with China and Russia immediately. Both nations would match the US’ nuclear arsenal “within five years”, according to Trump.

On Sunday, Trump said that China and Russia were “ making them rapidly ” and that he had to do “something about denuclearisation”.

“…We have enough nuclear weapons to blow up the world 150 times,”
