YOUNGSTOWN The jury trial for a 64-year-old Campbell man facing felony charges, including rape, was postponed for a fourth time in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
Terrance Jefferies' trial, which had been scheduled to begin today before Judge Anthony M. D’Apolito, was marked as “continued” in court records. A new trial date has not yet been set in the court's online docket, which lists the case as still open.
Jefferies, one of two defendants in the case, has been in the Mahoning County Jail since August 2024, when he was indicted on charges of first-degree felony rape and third-degree felony compelling prostitution. The charges stem from an alleged incident that occurred in Mahoning County between April 1 and June 13, 2024, involving a minor.
