Kerala State Film Awards 2025 Winners Announcement Live Updates: Kerala Minister for Culture and Youth Affairs Saji Cherian has begun announcing the winners of the 55th Kerala State Film Awards at a press conference in Thrissur. A seven-member jury, chaired by veteran actor Prakash Raj, selected the winners for this edition of the prestigious awards presented by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy.

According to reports, a total of 128 films from the year 2024 were submitted for consideration this year, out of which 26 films were shortlisted.

Prior to the announcement, Bramayugam, Feminichi Fathima, Am Aa, and Victoria were considered strong contenders for the Best Film category.
