TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Following the latest Legislative session, there are hundreds of new laws that have either taken effect or are planned to next year.

Over 200 bills in total were signed into Florida law throughout 2025. Over half of those took effect on July 1. You can find the full list of those laws here .

Meanwhile, nearly 30 other laws took effect on Oct. 1 , though there have also been plenty that were implemented upon being signed.
