The Harmanpreet Kaur-led India created history on Sunday, beating South Africa by 52 runs to win their maiden ODI World Cup title at the D.Y.Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

After winning the women’s ODI World Cup final on Sunday, batter Jemimah Rodrigues kept the promise made four years ago about revealing the team song the day the team won the quadrennial event. In a BCCi video released post the victory, the batter could be seen leading the way to sing for the team and was joined by the rest of her teammates, as well as the support staff members.

“We decided almost four years ago that we would only reveal our team song when we win the World Cup. And tonight is the night,” Rodrigues said in the video, before the team got together for the rendition:
