As the Jubilee Hills by-election heats up, candidates are coming up with all sorts of creative ways to win over voters. From pressure cookers and mixers to school bags and wall clocks, everything seems to be on the gift list.

According to reports, thousands of household appliances are being purchased in bulk to distribute among voters, especially targeting women with kitchen items like cookers and mixers. Around 50,000 such products are reportedly being bought from stores across the city, ready for distribution before polling day.

While women are being lured with kitchen gifts, men are being tempted with money, liquor bottles and biryani packets. Even children aren’t being left out, with school bags and lunch boxes added to the mix. The goal seems clear, win over the whole family in one
