WARREN Jury selection is scheduled for Monday in the trial of 75-year-old Danny McFadden, the Ravenna man indicted on a total of 28 charges in Trumbull County.

The trial is set to start at 9:00 a.m. before Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Cynthia Westcott Rice.

McFadden was arrested in June and later indicted on several sex-related charges involving children. The indictment lists 17 counts of first-degree rape, eight counts of third-degree gross sexual imposition, and three counts of fourth-degree gross sexual imposition.

According to court records, the alleged crimes took place from November 2017 to May 2025. Most of the charges specify a victim who was less than 13 years old, and who was five years old at the time of the first alleged offense.
