A dietary supplement sold at Sam’s Club has been linked to 11 cases of salmonella infections.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the Member’s Mark Super Greens Powder was sold at Sam’s Club stores nationwide and online.
Three people have been hospitalized. Cases have been reported in seven states, the CDC said.
Sam’s is no longer selling the powder, which contains moringa leaf, but people may still have it in their homes. The powder should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase for a refund.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said the infections have been linked to a single lot of moringa leaf powder supplied to the United States by Vallon Farm Direct PVT LTD of Jodhpur, India.
